Better than Kerkez: Liverpool eye £51m move for Rayan Ait-Nouri

Liverpool’s pursuit of a new left-back has intensified, with the club reportedly turning their attention to Wolverhampton Wanderers' star, Rayan Ait-Nouri. The 23-year-old has become one of the Premier League’s standout performers, drawing comparisons to fellow target Milos Kerkez of Bournemouth. However, Ait-Nouri, valued at £51m, may be a better fit for Arne Slot’s system.

With the need to reinforce their defense, Liverpool has been scouting both Ait-Nouri and Kerkez as potential signings. Milos Kerkez, who is valued at £45m, has also been under the radar of Liverpool’s recruitment team, but Ait-Nouri, despite a higher price tag, could be the more dynamic option. In terms of defensive contribution, Ait-Nouri has a slightly better tackle and interception rate, making him a more well-rounded choice.
