After spending over a decade at Chelsea, the English midfielder made a high-profile move to the Serie A giants in the summer of 2023 for a transfer fee of €15 million. It marked the end of a significant chapter at Stamford Bridge, where Loftus-Cheek had struggled to consistently find a place in the starting lineup due to injuries and fierce competition in the midfield.
